I love the fringe bag, the jacket, the shorts, the hat, the everything! I never knew the Singapore Airlines top could look so good.

 

Recently, there's been a newly-opened (and first ever in my country) Forever 21 shop here. It's not that in the photo (I WOULD LIVE THERE IF IT WAS). I've been there twice, and I've realized it's hard to step in Forever 21 without any money. Not that I didn't have any, but I didn't have much. Oh, the joys of a student allowance. I did manage to buy myself some stuff like a shirt and a teacup ring. After my exams, I will go back. Any suggestions on what I could buy? I took a look at their website and I was in love. :( This is my reward, then, for myself after hell week. I WILL BE BROKE ONCE I GET OUT OF FOREVER 21. Broke. Now if only they'd set up an H&M store here! Or at least someone get me a large suitcase and a plane ticket to New York or Tokyo or something. ;)

 

 

(But now) Penny Lane Bloom knows better. These past weeks, I was drowning in heavy, mind-working reading. My brain needed something light for a change. What light reading could be better than chick-lit? I have been looking all over for a copy of the book The Lonely Hearts Club by Elizabeth Eulberg. When I finally found it, I was ecstatic. With so much reference to The Beatles, this made me turn my mere love for them into a full adoration. Basically, it's a book about friends vs. boyfriends. As Penny puts it, boys are 'lying, cheating, scum of the earth'. Rather than looking for more romance after a severe heartbreak, she swears it off completely (at least for the next 10 years or so). She then creates The Lonely Hearts Club as her defense against junior year heartache. I absolutely fell in love with the book's quirkiness and humor. Yeah, it can be pretty predictable, but it makes for well-written chick-lit. :)

 I will be, after exams! Which is next Saturday! And I pinky-promise to update this page as soon as possible. For now, I am deep in school work, school work, school work. I can barely think straight. To my friends, you have every right to remove me. But I will be extremely happy if you don't. Expect loads of PSDs, brushes, (maybe) fonts, and I might even squeeze in some tidbits of my life right now. This, I swear! And to the people who commented on my previous entries and added me, I'm sorry I have not been able to respond. :( NEXT WEEK, GUISE. NEXT WEEK.
